Big Apple Kings is a New York based and inspired creative home decor company established in late 2009. Directed through the creative vision of artist/designer, Jemal” See One” McClary. Big Apple Kings is inspired Gotham city style remixed through fresh eyes, bold and original imagery and abstracted themes. This is the product of a lifelong love of art, coupled with the urge to make something original and different, some frustration and a big imagination.
Brand designer and director, Jemal McClary is a native New Yorker, hailing from the borough of Queens. A creator from an early age, he began drawing at age 2 and was heavily inspired by comic books, the 80′s and 90′s graffiti scene, anime and street culture. Markers, Spray paint and acrylic paint continue to be mainstays in his work as he continues to spend his life cultivating his skills and following his passion.
